Developing the best tcg wargame hybrid.
Our company, Dark Galaxy Tabletop LLC, is dedicated to bringing the Warcaste tcg to life. We aim to provide an exciting experience with every new set. Whether its competitive play or just sitting down at the kitchen table, were dedicated to bringing the feel of a galactic war to life.
Our Story
We began developing Warcaste back in 2020 in the beautiful, small town of Cody Wy, USA. It was a very different game back then. But through the years of forging it in the fires of testing at our local game store and later online with a wide variety of tcg players the Warcaste of today was born.
Our art for all our cards is created by J C Bullinger. It took years to develop a smooth workflow that worked for creating the large amount of art needed for a tcg, but the effort was well worth it.
We started testing at our local game store, Game Haven. We spent hours a week playing with people and the store owner and homing in the basic game play of Warcaste. We also were able to run a successful draft tournament thanks to the lgs.
We also found help in testing and development with like-minded developers on the POPUP Playtests discord. This really pushed the development of Warcaste forward as we were able to test and play Warcaste weekly with other designers and run tournaments with cards in betta to test their strength.
